Causes and Maintenance of Motor Rotor Core Failure
The rotor is made of silicon steel sheets that are insulated from each other.Motorpart of the magnetic circuit.
The main reasons for the failure of the stator and rotor core are as follows:
(1) The bearing has been used for a long time and is excessively worn, causing the stator and rotor to rub against each other, causing damage to the surface of the iron core, thus causing short circuit between silicon steel sheets, increasing the iron loss of the motor, and causing the temperature rise of the motor to be too high. At this time, fine files and other tools should be used to remove burrs, eliminate short circuit of silicon steel sheets, coat insulating paint after cleaning, and heat drying.
(2) When removing the old winding, the force is too large, so that the reverse groove is tilted outward. At this time, needle-nose pliers, wooden hammer and other tools shall be used to repair the tooth groove, and hard insulation materials such as green shell paper and bakelite board shall be added between the silicon steel sheets with gaps that are not easy to reset.
(3) due to moisture and other reasons caused by iron core surface corrosion, at this time need to use sandpaper to polish clean, clean up and coated with insulating paint.
(4) due to winding grounding ignition burning iron core or tooth. Tools such as chisels or scrapers can be used to remove the deposits and apply insulating paint for drying.
(5) The fixing between the iron core and the base is loose and can be fixed again. If the set screw is damaged, replace and tighten the set screw after repositioning.
